Project Epic- 217B Bath Road, Slough

Located in Slough, Project Epic 217B Bath Road saw us work with fit-out contractor Overbury PLC to revamp the landscaping around 80,00 square feet of office space for EPIC UK.

Our works included breathing new life into the tired and worn-out landscaping scheme around the build. The long-term design objective for the landscaping scheme is to provide attractive and valuable communal external spaces. The planting offers a lovely setting for all users of the exterior spaces. Tree planting provides height and structure.

Works started by removing overgrown areas of landscaping, cutting the banks, and hydroseeding. Moving around to the front of the building, where a new entrance was created with disability access. Existing block paving was taken up, new crib walls, steps, ramps and new footpaths were installed. The frontage was enhanced by installing GRP planters with Mona irrigation tanks to divide the area planted with a hedging unit. A central planter takes pride of place with integrated seating to complete the new look frontage. Existing roadside planting was enhanced with herbaceous planting and larger shrubs and turf.

A new roof terrace café was created with views towards Windsor Castle. Due to strict fire regulations on this project, aluminium decking and paving were constructed on metal pedestals and rails. New planters with Wisteria set to ramble over the canopy creating areas of shade. Some planters were all so installed with the space for the occupants to grow their own plants.

We installed Interior landscaping to create a calm and positive working environment.

The long-term design objective for the landscaping scheme is to provide attractive and valuable communal external spaces.
